Leo Kraft’s 90th birthday will be marked a bit a head of time by a concert of his music on Sunday March 11, 2012 AT 3:00 P.M. at the Center for Jewish History, 15 West 16 St. in Manhattan.
The program will include works written in recent years, with first performances of testimonium, for piano solo written for Morey Ritt, who will give the work its premier.
Another first will be Partita a tre, written for Charles Neidich, Marcy Rosen and Morey Ritt.
Six pieces for violin with piano obbligato, will be performed by Renee Jolles and Morey Ritt.
Other works on the program are seven Hebrew songs, sung by Thomas Meglioranza with David Jolley horn and konstantza Chernov piano.
The program will conclude with a performance of Omaggio (Spencer Oshima, Jolles, Holloway, Rosen).
